Revolving Loan Funds

Quaranta Housing Services (QHS) offers low interest loans of up to $10,000 for down payment/closing cost assistance for first time homebuyers or if current homeowners are in need of repairs to their homes.

Qualified customers who earn less than 120% of the state median income are encouraged to apply for a loan to help with the costs associated in buying a home. Customers are required to attend a First Time Homebuyer Education Class to learn more about the home buying process and budgeting skills.

Customers who wish to borrow money to make repairs to their homes are required to meet with the Site Operations Specialist to discuss the needed repairs and have the home inspected for health and safety needs. Staff assists the customer in contractor selection, writing a scope of work, sending the work out to bid and monitoring the work site while the repairs are performed.
